世界の中での日本の評判まとめ(BBC Country Rating Poll)

BBCでは毎年「BBC Country Rating Poll」というものをやっている。
これは、ある国が、
「世界に対してPositiveな影響を与えている」と思われているか、
「世界に対してNegativeな影響を与えている」と思われているか、
の割合を調査したもの。

以前も書いたのだが、実は、日本この調査で
「Positiveな影響を与えていると思われている国」
のトップ集団常連国なのである。

日本に住んでいると、日本人自身による自国の評価にしか触れていないが、
世界の国々からはこういう認識なのだということは、
知っておくべきことだと思うのでまとめておいた。

時系列の変化を追えた方がよいと思うので、
古いものから順に並べておく。

2006年調査結果

BBC Poll: Attitudes towards Countries

Japan received very high ratings. Of the 33 countries polled, a remarkable 31 gave a positive rating and 21 of these were a majority. On average 55 percent gave a positive rating and 18 percent a negative one. Japan was not rated in the 2004 BBC World Service poll.
The two exceptions were China and South Korea, where 71 and 54 percent, respectively, said that Japan is having a negative influence.

Israel and Iran Share Most Negative Ratings in Global Poll

Japan remains one of the most positively viewed countries worldwide. On average this year, 54 percent gave Japan a positive rating, while just 20 percent said its influence in the world was mainly negative. Out of 27 countries polled, 24 gave Japan a positive rating, with just two giving it a negative and one divided. Among the 19 countries polled in both 2006 and 2007, positive views of Japan slipped slightly by 1 percentage point.

Global Views of USA Improve

Japan remains one of the countries with the most positive ratings, though this year it comes a close second to Germany. Among the tracking countries, on average a majority (56%) views Japan's influence in the world as mainly positive, while one in five (21%) view Japan's influence negatively (statistically unchanged from 2007). Twenty-one countries give a positive rating, while two give a negative rating (two neighbours: China and South Korea) and one country is divided (Mexico).

2009年調査結果

Views of China and Russia Decline in Global Poll

Overall evaluations for Japan remain largely positive, although negative views have increased slightly on average and positive views have dropped in several countries. Among the countries polled in both 2008 and 2009, Japan continues to receive majority positive views on average (57%), while one in five (20%) view Japan's influence as negative. Sixteen countries give Japan's influence a predominantly positive rating, only two give a negative rating (China and Turkey), and two more are evenly divided (Germany and Mexico). In the previous year, 17 countries had positive views of Japan, while only China was predominantly negative.

Global Views of United States Improve While Other Countries Decline

Japan continues to have very positive ratings globally. Twenty-five of the countries give Japan's influence a positive rating, while only one country, China, leans negative and one is divided. On average, 53 per cent view Japanese influence positively and 21 per cent negatively.

2011年調査結果

Positive Views of Brazil on the Rise in 2011 BBC Country Rating Poll

Japan continues to have very favourable ratings globally in 2011, and those have improved since 2010. On average, among the 24 tracking countries surveyed in both 2010 and 2011, 57 per cent of people have a positive opinion of Japan's influence in the world, which represents a four per cent increase over 2010. Only one in five holds a negative view (21% in 2010). Twenty-five countries lean positive, and two negative.

2012年調査結果

Views of Europe Slide Sharply in Global Poll, While Views of China Improve

Japan is seen as having the most positive influence in the world among all countries evaluated, and views have improved slightly since 2011. On average, in the 21 tracking countries surveyed, 58 per cent of respondents hold positive views of Japan's influence (up from 56% in 2011), and 21 per cent hold negative views (up 1 point from 2011). This very favourable global picture is reflected in the picture by country: out of the 22 countries surveyed in 2012, 20 countries lean positive and only two lean negative (South Korea and China).
